Community Integration Network (CIN)
About Us:
In consultation with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and in collaboration with Community Connections service providers, CIN develops standards, tools and resources that support the effective delivery of services. The network includes Community Connections programs and activities, Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) and Library Settlement Partnerships (LSP).
Activities:
- Coordinating the development of Community Connections activities to facilitate sharing of promising practices, resulting in similar outcomes.
- Enhancing the capacity of service providers with practical tools/processes to document the importance and value of the Community Connections activities.
- Continually assessing trends, new initiatives, best practices and challenges.
- Supporting Francophone programs/workers in the Community Connections stream.
